Over fifty years have passed since the assassination of John F. Kennedy and still it is one of the most talked about assassinations of all time. â€Å"JFK was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas† (â€Å"The White House†). John and his wife, Jacqueline, were riding in an open top car down the streets of Dealey Plaza when the President John Kennedy was shot and killed. This event traumatized many Americans, â€Å"Over 66% of people in America believe that the assassination was part of a larger conspiracy while only 25% think it was just one individual working alone† (Blaton ). The assassination of JFK has been argued for many years; the government declared that Lee Harvey Oswald worked alone, but many have different stories.†¦show more content†¦It was this action made by Jack Ruby, that made this particular assassination suspicious and one of the biggest conspiracy theories. The government investigated the murder of President Kennedy and declared that Lee Harvey Oswald was responsible and he worked alone. But many questions were left unanswered by the government, making many wonder what really happened on November 22, 1963. Over the years more information has arisen from new investigations and people expressing their opinions to the public. The most talked about conspiracy theory is that Lyndon B. Johnson was responsible for the assassination of John F. Kennedy. â€Å"Then-Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson ‘had the most to gain in the short term,’ said Stone, who has taught a JFK assassination course at the university since the early ‘90s† (Stone). Roger Stone, a former aid to Nixon, claims he has evidence against LBJ that he was the one who organized the whole assassination.
